Walter Henry Obermann, 89, passed from this life on Sunday, November 12, 2017 in Glendale, Arizona. He was born to Roy Obermann and Coletta Westrich on September 12, 1928 in St Louis, Missouri. Walter was a great guy who enjoyed horse races, movie musicals, and Jazz. He will be deeply missed as he was one of a kind and adored by his family.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Coletta Obermann and sister, Dorothy T. Logan. Those left to mourn his passing include his nephews, Barry Wakeford and family and Roger Wakeford and family.
Visitation for Walter will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday, November 25, 2017 sharing of memories will begin at 10:40 AM with a Scripture service to follow at 11:00 AM in Holy Cross Funeral Home 9925 W. Thomas Rd. Avondale, AZ 85392. The Rite of Committal and entombment will follow St Francis Cemetery Mausoleum, 2033 N 48th St, Phoenix, AZ 85008, where he will be laid to rest.
