Funeral services for Mr. Alfred "Tall Boy" Gregory, 68, of Collinston, LA, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2006 at the Loch Arbor Baptist Church in Swartz, LA with Revs. Andy Myrick and Bob Lonadier officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Gregory, a retired pipeliner and member of the Local #798 pipeliner's union, passed away Friday, March 10, 2006 at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston, Texas. He was a member of Loche Arbor Baptist Church and the Louisiana Fox Trotters Club.

Mr. Gregory is survived by his wife, Billie Gregory; three daughters, Sandra Goleman of Bastrop, LA, Debra Chappell and husband Jamie of Alexander, AR, Wendy Day and husband Kenneth of Bastrop, LA; son, Dewayne Gregory and wife Donna of Bastrop, LA; six sisters, Charlene Hall of Bastrop, LA, Virginia Ann Townsend of Tallulah, LA, Gloria Jean Thurman of LaDell, AR, Catherine Self of Rayville, LA, Rita Nelson of Wilmot, AR, Brenda Riles of Bastrop, LA; three brothers, James Gregory of Malone,Texas, Edward Gregory of Swartz, LA, Louis Gregory of Poplarville, MS; nine grandchildren, Dana Goleman, Lara Goleman, Shane Goleman, Brandon Chappell, Kelli Chappell, Steven Gregory, Cody Gregory, Nicholas Day and Taylor Day.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Dovie Gregory; four brothers, George O. Gregory, L.D. Gregory, Robert Gregory and Ernest Gregory.
