Helen W. Adamson, 98 of 900 Crosstown Ave., Silvis, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 1995, at Illini Hospital, Silvis.
Services are 1 p.m. Friday at Esterdahl Mortuary Ltd., Moline. Burial is in Rock River View Cemetery, Moline.
Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
The former Helen Whitcomb was born Nov. 18, 1898, in Byron, Minn., the daughter of Samuuel Eddy and Juliana Dodd Whitcomb. SHe married Edward W. Adamson Dec. 25, 1917, in Chester, Iowa. He died Dec. 31, 1963.
She was employed as a crib attendant at John Deere Harvester Works, East Moline, for 17 years, retiring at age 65.
She was a member of the United Auto Workers local, East Moline, Order of the Eastern Star 779, East Moline, and Senior Citizens, Moline.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law Russell and Wanda Adamson, Milan, and Donald and Desiree Adamson, East Moline, 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 28 great-great-grandchildren. Sons Matthew and Allan are deceased.
