Sandra Lea (Rice) Gerzeski

Sandra Lea (Rice) Gerzeski, age 68; formerly of Nebraska City, NE passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at the home of her daughter in Drury, MO after a battle with cancer.
Sandy was born on November 10, 1940 in Altoona, PA to William and Violet (Forrester) Rice. She was a resident of Nebraska City for a number of years before moving to Missouri to live with her daughter. She became extremely ill in September of 2008.
She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary in Nebraska City, NE. She was baptized on November 24, 1996 at the United Methodist Church in Julian,NE. She was saved and accepted Jesus again by Minister Roger Flint on March 10, 2009 in Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother William Rice, son Clemence H. Lucas, Jr., daughter Alberta R. Braden, one grandson William Wade Braden, her second husband of over 20 years Clemence H. Lucas, Sr. and third husband of 15 years David A. Gerzeski.
She is survived by 3 daughters; a sister; a brother; 18 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; numerous family and friends.
Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday morning (March 17) from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Gude Mortuary Chapel in Nebraska City. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the East Union Cemetery northeast of Union, NE with interment to follow.
