William Henry Bolles, 67, a resident of Davenport the last 19 years, died at 6 p.m. Thursday at his home, 2513 Wilkes avenue. Death terminated a brief illness.
Born in Covington, Ky., Oct . 13, 1867 (sic), he attended school there and in Cincinnati, O. He married Elsie Transue in Decatur, Ala., Sept. 18, 1895, and the couple came to Rock Island in 1914. Two years later they moved to Davenport. He was of Presbyterian faith, and was affiliated with the Machinists' lodge, No. 81; Trinity lodge, No. 288, AF&AM, and Mohassan grotto.
Surviving, besides his wife, are a son, William H. Bolles, Jr., at home; a daughter, Mrs. Adelaide Boike, Cincinnati, and a sister, Mrs. Blanche Grille, Washington, D.C.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Hill & Fredericks mortuary chapel, and burial will be in Chippiannock cemetery, Rock Island.

Funeral services for William H. Bolles, 67, who died Thursday at his home 2513 Wilkes avenue, Davenport, will be held at 2 tomorrow afternoon in Hill and Fredericks funeral home. Burial will be in Chippiannock cemetery, Rock Island.
Mr. Bolles was born in Covington, Ky., on Aug. 13, 1867, and resided in Davenport for the last nineteen years. Surviving are the widow; one son, William Henry jr.; a daughter, Mrs. Adelaide Boike, Cincinnati, O., and one sister, Mrs. Blanche Grille, Washington, D.C.

Bolles Funeral
The funeral of William Henry Bolles was held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Hill & Fredericks chapel. The Rev. R. Bruce West officiated. Burial was in Chippiannock cemetery, Rock Island. Pallbearers were Albert Spence, F. R. Druschman, C. E. Beal, Lee Crandall, Ed Sievert and Bob Abernathy.
