Mrs. Pearl F. Davis of 908 Converse street, Fairbury, Neb., died Jan. 27, 1963, following a sudden illness.
Pearl Frances Miller was born May 2, 1890 at Clay Center, Neb., the daughter of Emma and Charles Miller. She became a member of the Christian church when 15 years of age.
In 1903 she married John H. Davis, who preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1929.
Surviving are four of her seven children, Emma, Mrs. Cecil Shuck of Creswell, Ore., Goldie, Mrs. Clem Howarter, of Ogden, Utah, Raymond of Eugene, Ore. and Francis of Oroville, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Carl Schultz and Mrs. Bud Slater of Fairbury, 23 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were three children, Guy, Evelyn and Otto.
Funeral services were Friday afternoon in the Christian church with the pastor, Rev. Virgil Willits, officiating. Mrs. Dean McKenzie was soloist and Mrs. Charlotte Henney, Organist. Pallbearers were Bud Kirby, Jim Fitzgerald, Dick Bales, Don Mitchell, Lewis Bales and Paul Hatfield. Burial was in the Fairbury cemetery.
