Harold R. Bach, 78, 540 Peters St. died August 4. 1991 at home following a short illness.
The son of the late Herman F. and Barbara (Salentine) Bach was born Oct. 25, 1912 in Appleton. He married the former Charlotte Krumrey July 16 1946 at Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Mr. Bach was a staff sergeant in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a waist gunner on the B-24 in the 8th Air Force 93rd Bomb Group and flew combat missions over Germany. Mr. Bach served 3 1/2 years in the service.
He also worked at Olson Trailer and Body until his retirement in 1972.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte, Green Bay; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Peggy Bach, Texas; Paul and Jean Bach, New Franken; two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Bill Bradshaw, Carol and Patrick Gardipee, all of Green Bay; three grandchildren, Jody and Bruce Carline. Louisiana; Jeff Bach, Texas; Kelly Bradshaw. Green Bay; one great-grandchild, Andrew Carline, Louisiana; one sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Gordon Hazelbauer, Green Bay; one sister-in-law, Rose Nuhlichek, Shawano; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three half-brothers and one half-sister.
There will be a private service Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum Chapel, with the Rev. Arthur Callesen officiating. Burial in Nicolet Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established for Our Saviour Lutheran Church. Malcore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
