James A. Francisco, Jr., 93, of Azle, died April 5, 2019.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and interment will be at Goshen Cemetery in Springtown.
James was born May 14, 1925 in Turkey Ford, Oklahoma. He served with the U.S. Army in the Rhineland and Central Europe during World War II. After the war he married his high school sweetheart, Raydean Rickner, and they settled in Turkey Ford, Oklahoma. They celebrated 60 years of marriage. He was a founding member of the VFW Post No. 8380 in Grove, Oklahoma. James and his wife owned and operated an OTASCO store for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Raydean.
James is survived by two daughters, Jan Garrett and her husband, Al of Springtown and Donna Jonutis and her husband, James of Hallett Cove, Australia; two grandchildren, Lisa Sisk and husband, Matt and Chad Garrett and wife, Darla; four great- grandchildren, Chase Ray, Haden Garrett, Jakob Garrett and Jackson Garrett; and many nieces and nephews.
