He was a proud World War II Naval Veteran and businessman. Preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Ellen (nee McLeish); daughter, Diane Wilson; and 3 brothers, Douglas, Donald, and Roger. Survived by his daughter, Mary Ellen (Douglas) Kasel; grand children, Christine and Jennifer Switala, Shawn (Matthew) Kroeger, Kelly (Dave) Lawry, and Ryan (Marie) Wilson; 3 great-grandchildren, Jenna and Justin Lawry, Logan Wilson; special friend Lorraine Quigley and family; and many friends. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Monday October 24, at HOLCOMB-HENRY-BOOM-PURCELL, 515 Hwy. 96 W. Shoreview. Private interment. "
