Lometta Ineze Bell, age 94, of Odessa, passed from this life on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Madison Medical Resort in Odessa. She was born in Perryville, AR on January 25, 1925 to the late Laurence and Faye (Howard) Price. Lometta married Earl Bell in Coleman, TX on December 2, 1942. They enjoyed 32 years together before separated by his death March 30, 1975.
Lometta worked as a licensed vocational nurse and owned her own alterations shop. Sewing was her art and she was skilled at needlework, knitting and crocheting. A loving wife and mother, Lometta was very family oriented. She was a Christian and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary 4372 and Epsilon Sigma Alpha.
Lometta is survived by her daughters: Celia Hollon and Marie Covert, both of Odessa, ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sons: Steve Bell and James Bell.
Funeral services in Odessa will be Friday, April 5, 2019 at Acres West Funeral Chapel at 1:00 pm, officiated by Pastor Mike Bartlett. Graveside funeral services where she will be laid to rest beside Earl will be Monday, April 8, 2019 at Prague Cemetery in Prague, Oklahoma.
