Notice in Rushville Republican May 2, 1899.
Mrs. Frank Risk died at her home on Cerro Gordo Street last Sunday at noon, from the effects of childbirth. She was over 20 years of age and was married over a year ago to Mr. Risk The funeral services were held at the house this afternoon at one o'clock, after which the remains were taken to Fayetteville for burial. The husband and infant child survive her.
Note: The April 7th issue of the Republican says a nine pound son was born to Frank Risk and wife on April 5th.
