Mrs. Betty Lou Brock Patterson, age 74 of Flat Lick, was born in Bell County, KY on December 15, 1944 to the late Sam and Mary Couch Brock and departed this life on Thursday, February 28, 2019 in the Barbourville ARH Hospital.
She was a member of Old Flat Lick Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, taking care of her house, watching Andy Griffith, and spending time with family and friends especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents: Sam and Mary Brock; her husband: Jimmy Patterson; a son: Vance Patterson; a sister: Wilma Logan; and a brother: Wayne Brock preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving son: James Patterson and wife Amelia of Flat Lick; a brother: Paul Brock of Grayson, KY; 3 grandchildren: Bryson Alewine, Vance Patterson, and Stephen Patterson; other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Mike Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the A J Gray Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
