Bette Lynn Barnett Clutts passed away Monday, April 1, 2019. She was born December 22, 1942, the daughter of Fred Allan and Margaret Christine Gladney Barnett, in Waco. Bette was a retired medical transcriptionist. She loved to travel and see new places, many of them from the back of a motorcycle. After retirement, she and Butch spent many summers traveling the U.S. and RV'ing in the Rocky Mountains.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Butch Clutts; son, Buddy Clutts and wife Lisa; sister, Anita Bryson and husband Junior; brothers, Mike Barnett and wife Debbie, Tommy Barnett and wife Corrie; her beloved Pomeranian Maxine; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be 6-8 Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Funeral services are 10 a.m., Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sturdivant Cemetery.
