He attended school in Linton and Beulah, ND and served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Kitty Hawk during the Vietnam War. He was employed by the City of Bismarck for thirty-seven years.
Roger married Patricia Dworshak on August 31, 1970. Roger was a remarkable man and he loved to visit with his family and friends. If you started a conversation with him, you better take a seat, it was going to be awhile. He was never in a hurry! He worked hard his entire life and always had time to lend an extra hand to anyone who needed it.
He was a great husband, father, and brother and a terrific grandfather.
