UTICA - At his home in this city last evening occurred the death of James Watson Hannahs, well known here and in Rome.
Death was due to paralysis.
Mr. Hannahs was born in Marcy 72 years ago and from there went to Rome where he lived for many years. About seven years ago he came to this city where he lived ever since.
He is survived by a brother, Harrison H. Hannahs of Denver and a sister, Mr. O.C. Harrington of Rome.
The remains will be taken to Rome for burial. Utica Daily Press, Friday Morning, July 17, 1908
