Tom Von Dabling, The greatest dad on earth--Born on October 12, 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Passed away August 9, 2018 in Covington, Washington

He was a man of many talents-- champion cyclist, competitive roller skater, active in the ROTC, and won many awards during his career in sales.

At the age of 17 he enlisted in the Navy. He was very proud to be a WWII veteran and instilled that patriotism in his family.

Raised in Salt Lake City, living an adventurous life -- he later married Claudine Anderson. After 18 years of marriage to his sweetheart, Claudine passed away at age 38 from cancer. Dad then single handedly raised four children. He was an amazing father, always inventing fun activities to entertain the kids while on a limited budget.

Years later he married Norma Heaps and helped raise her two boys. Toward the end of his second sweetheart's life-- as she became ill, he cared for her until her recent passing. He always said, "I was lucky twice."

Tom is survived by Vonell Hatch (Sheryl), Connie Riggle (Craig), Kim Dabling, Sue Randall (Mike), Steve Heaps (Shelica), Mike Heaps (Megan), and many grand and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Saturday, August 18 at Kent Stake Center, 12817 SE 256th St, Kent, WA.
