Birth/death from transcription of pension application and other notes from his son, Stephen Jr. Married to Agnes McWhirter 16 Oct 1781, then to Mary Richman/Richmond 9 Mar 1797.
According to family tradition, he left with Jackson's two older brothers to fight in America's behalf. He served through the war and came back to Waxhaw. (Jackson's brothers were killed and brought back and buried on the church ground of the "Old Round Top" Presbyterian Church near Waxhaw, of which the Jacksons and Stephen Billue were the founders) Stephen Billue and all his descendants that remained in North Carolina are buried at "Old Round Top." (See church record now in possession of Mrs. Bessie Steel Ardrey, Pineville, North Carolina, Route 16.)
He married Elizabeth Williams (a native of Ireland who came over before the war about the year 1780). Only two children were born to them, Stephen, Jr., born 1802 who lived and died in North Carolina and James Richmond born 1804 who was the first of the Billues to settle in Georgia.

Not easy to access, in the woods/remote location behind private residence. Neighbors are nice and will allow to park in driveway and visit.
