Effie Mae Kimsey Jordan Smith

Daughter of John Houston & Katie Mitchell Kimsey.

Her first husband was Leonard Jordan, who died in 1946 and with whom she had all her children. Her second husband was Frank Robert Smith, who died in 1978.

She was retired from textile work and a member of Southside Assembly of God.

Survived by four daughters, Catherine J. Gilmer and Martha J. Brooks, both of Greenville; Margie J. Wood of Greenwood, and Mrs. Pat J. (George) Campbell of Williamston; a son, Dennis L. Jordan of Easley; two stepsons, Rev. Charles F. Smith of Panama City, FL and Paul R. Smith of Ware Shoals; and a sister, Vivian Holcombe Pike of Dallas, TX.

Funeral services: Wednesday, March16, 1994, Thomas

McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel.

Burial: Eastview Cemetery, Honea Path.
