David Kenneth Breitzka, 76, of Michigan City passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.

David was born August 1, 1942 in Michigan City to the late Kenneth and Evelyn (Bruemmer) Breitzka.

On January 31, 1964 in Michigan City he married Patricia A. Hess who is surviving in Michigan City.

Also surviving are two daughters, Michelle Renee Breitzka of Chicago, Illinois and Robin Lynn Breitzka of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Lynda (Scott) Milnes of Lockport, Illinois and Mary Klosowski of Warsaw, Indiana; sister-in-law, Joyce Breitzka of Trail Creek and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by one brother Dennis Breitzka.

Dave retired from US Can as a Lithographic Pressman after 27 years of service.

He was a proud veteran serving in the US Army. He was a member of John Franklin Miller American Legion Post #37, Danny Bruce Chapter of the D.A.V. and the F.O.P. His greatest joy was watching old westerns. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
