Linda Louise Hingenitz, 66, of Flat Rock passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
A native of Henderson county, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Margaret Ballard Hill. She was married to Henry Hingenitz for over 40 years prior to his death earlier this year. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Hill.
She was a family nurse practitioner, having worked many years at the Henderson County health department and currently worked at The Laurel OB - GYN. She was a member of East Flat Rock First Baptist church and loved singing in the choir.
She will however be best remembered as a loving wonderful mother.
Survivors include, one son, Joseph Edward Hingenitz and his wife Ashley, one granddaughter, Ryker, who is arriving any day now and a niece, Melissa Barnwell and her family of Hendersonville.
A memorial service will be held Friday, December 16, 2016 at 7:30 pm at East Flat Rock First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jeff Nelands officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 6 PM until service time at the church.
