POWER, ALMOND Almond Power died December 12, 2005 at home. Almond leaves behind his wife, Sue King Power; sons, Richard Dean of Lancaster, CA and Stephen Wayne of Houston, TX; daughters, Deirdra Davis of Denver, and Dayna Briggs of Austin, TX; sister, Louise Williamson of Houston, TX; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Almond was born in Conroe, TX on February 4, 1923. He was a Veteran of the Pacific Theatre of Operations in WWII, rising to the rank of First Sergeant in the U.S. Army . After the war he was employed by Folgers Coffee and later with Maryland Club Coffee. He retired from The Coca-Cola Company as Sr. Vice President. He will best be remembered for his financial acumen and his dry wit. Memorial Service, Friday, 1:00 PM, Horan McConaty Family Chapel, 3201 S. Parker Rd.
