Mrs. Conditt born June 4, 1918 at Hillhouse, Mississippi, to the late James H. and Bertha Kyle Adams, died May 26, 2007. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Delta State University and Master's Degree from The University of Memphis and taught Elementary Education in the Helena-West Helena School District and Memphis City Schools. Mrs. Conditt was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and The Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Harold Conditt, Jr. "Jim"; her husband, James Harold Conditt, Sr.; and her brother, W.E. "Bill" Adams.
Mrs. Conditt is survived by a son, Bart Hudson Conditt of Bella Vista, Arkansas; two sisters, Janice McCullough of West Palm Beach, Florida and Betty Ann Culbert of Lees Summit, Missouri; a grandson James Harold "Hal" Conditt III of Nashville, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Undercroft of St. John's Episcopal Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. John's Episcopal Church.
