She was talented with numbers and used this gift to build Bishop's Tax Service which she ran successfully over thirty years until her retirement. Her strength and determination inspired her family to always move forward despite the obstacles placed on the path. She lived her life faithfully serving her Lord and has been reunited with Him, her husband Harold Bishop, her brother Clifford Armstrong, sister Irene Wagner and friends whom have gone before.
Lorraine is survived by her children Linda Mullins and husband Andy, Billie Jean Shrewsbury and husband David, Allen Bishop, Kathy Bailey and husband Larry whom she loved as her own son; her grandchildren, Jennifer Roberson, Pat and Chris Shrewsbury, Candy and Joshua Bailey. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, her eldest brother Arthur Armstrong and Betty Wagner her niece.
Visitation for Lorraine will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2014, at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton, WV from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
