From her obituary in the Alturas New Era, January 29, 1908:

Wife of Benjamin Sebastian.

She passed away at her home on Pine Creek, near Alturas. She was laid to rest in the new I.O.O.F. cemetery in Alturas.

Left to mourn her loss were her husband, her daughter Mrs. John Tisserand, and a number of grandchildren, two of whom were Mrs. J. C. Rachford of Alturas and Mrs. Jesse Pratt of Cedarville.
