Julie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Rudy McCullough; children, Michael McCullough, Cathy (Steve) Gerberding, Scott McCullough, and Tom (Michelle) McCullough; grandchildren, Billy McCullough, Tommy McCullough, Jackson McCullough, Matthew McCullough. She was also preceded in death by her son, Bill McCullough and brother, James Bierce.
Once their youngest child entered high school, Julie became an insurance agent for American United Life. She loved next to new shops, decorating, playing tennis and golf; and enjoyed helping others in various organizations at her church. While in Naples, she hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for over 80 people at church so no one would spend the holiday alone. Julie also loved spending time with family and friends on the beach in Michigan at Palisades Park Country Club (PPCC).
Her memberships included the Jr. League, St. Margaret's Hospital Guild, Second Presbyterian Church, and Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority at Butler University. She was an Elder at First Presbyterian in Naples, FL.
Memorial Service for Julie held at Second Presbyterian Church, 7700 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN, with inurnment immediately following in the Memorial Garden Columbarium at the church.
