Lucille was the second of five children of Erna Carlyn Gross (1894-1954) and Joseph Matthew Borsch (1887-1960) and the second of their four daughters. The 1948 city directory of St. Paul lists her with her parents and two of her siblings living at 1100 Colne Street; she is a clerk for Patterson Dental Supply Co. Still at home in 1950, she was a bookkeeper for Twin City Federal Savings and Loans. She continued in clercial positions until her retirement from Agribank. Lucille enjoyed playing bridge and was a Silver Life Master member of the American Contract Bridge League. She was a member of St. Columba Church.
