Mrs. Mary Donovan --- Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Donovan, formerly of 36 Tremont Street, who died Thursday, were conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock from 636 West Main Street, with the Rev. Frederick M. Winnie, rector of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, officiating. The bearers were Raymond Moore, William Rice, Arthur T. Smith, Kenneth Belden, Harvey Padelford and Jack Nobles. Burial was made in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Donovan is survived by her husband, William J.; two sons, Capt. Daniel J. Donovan of the 108th Infantry, Armory; William J. Donovan Jr.; a daughter, Mrs. J, H. Ohl of Long Beach, Calif., and 10 grandchildren.

Cemetery records state she was buried April 21, 1934, having died at the age of 73y, 7m, 29d of Arteriosclerosis. (plot does not appear to be near her husband William.

Mary Ann Thynne-Donovan has had many different names on records found on ancestry. She is sometimes referred to as "Maria". She is called "Mary Mitchell" on her son's records (Daniel James & Frank Donovan). She also has been said to be born in Canada but was in fact born in Lisdoonvarna, Ireland.
