Obituary Feb 9, 1961 – Mrs Martha Cooper Violet Hill Resident - Mrs Martha Elizabeth Cooper, 71, of Violet Hill died in a Batesville hospital Friday. She was a native of Lunenburg and was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include four sons, Gill Cooper of Brockwell, Paul Cooper of LaCross, Darrell Cooper of Wenatchee, Wash., and Joe Cooper with the Army in Texas; a daughter, Mrs Velma Wren of Wenatchee; a brother, G. M. Craig of Melbourne; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Sage Church of Christ by Ray Miller. Burial was in the Lunenburg Cemetery by Crouch Funeral Home. - Melbourne Times, Melbourne, Arkansas. (Daughter of William Zeberlan Craig & Emma Geneva Landers, married George T. Cooper on 22 Dec 1907 in Izard County.)
