James had served as the Director of Respiratory Care for hospitals in Toledo, Kettering and Mansfield and retired in 2006 as a respiratory therapist for Knox Community Hospital. He was a member of the National Board for Respiratory Care and also served on the Ohio Respiratory Care Board. In his spare time, Jim studied ancestry and genealogy and was an avid fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes football team. He was also a member of Mount Zion Lodge #9 F&AM.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda (Fisk) Wareham, a son, John M. (Jenny) Wareham III of Canoga Park, California and a granddaughter, Gibson Grace Wareham.
Besides his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a brother, John M. Wareham and an infant sister.
Friends may call on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. where a Masonic service will begin at 2 p.m. Following a Masonic service there will be a Celebration of Life service with Rev. Chris Kinner officiating. Burial will follow in Mound View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice or the charity of one’s choice.
