Emo Lacy Honeycutt, age 83 years, .Whitley City, , Kentucky died July 20, 2005 at Somerset Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Somerset, Kentucky..
Funeral Services were held Saturday, July 23,;. 2005 at McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Honeycutt and Rev. Tom Sellers officiating. Burial was in Roberts Chapel Cemetery. He was born at Jellico, Tennessee on June 25, 1922 the son of the late Calvin •and Emerine Watson Honeycutt. He was a logger and member 'of Beulah Heights Church of God. He served many years as a dedicated member of the rescue squad. During World War II he served in the U. S. Army. His wife, Blanche Lynch Honeycutt and his daughter, Betty Sue Branch precede him in death. His parents are deceased. Lesley Tiltion and Mini Honeycutt are the deceased sisters. Survivors include his children, Cecil Honeycutt and wife, Martha, Parkers Lake, Kentucky; Roger Honeycutt and wife, Oneeda, Beulah Heights, Kentucky; Kenneth Honeycutt and wife, Wendy, Corbin, Kentucky and Rayma Vanover, Lexington, Kentucky. Homer Morgan, Evansville, Indiana is the surviving stepbrother. Ivory Helen Montgomery, Cincinnati, Ohio is the surviving sister and Catherine Vanover, Parkers Lake, Kentucky is the surviving stepsister. Fourteen grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren and four great great ‘grandchildren survive. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
