Sonia C. Kologie, 74, Indiana, passed away Saturday morning, November 12, 2016, at her home.
The daughter of the late Martin J. Baker and Alice Henry, she was born November 21, 1941 in Montgomery Township.
Sonia was a graduate of Purchase Line High School and employed numerous years by the First Summit Bank. Over the past fifty years, she developed a passion for horses and loved to ride whenever possible. She also performed volunteer work for the Humane Society.
Sonia will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to many.
Surviving is her husband, O. Keith Porter; son, Craig Kologie and his wife Carla; daughter, Mandy Porter and Brian Stephenson; grandchildren, Ryan Kologie, Nathan Kologie, Colin Kowchuck, and Connor Stephenson; and brother, Barry Baker and his wife Sherry.
Preceding Sonia in death were her parents and a sister, Kay Baker Mays.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of one’s choice.
Funeral arrangements will be private and entrusted to the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
