Paul Douglas Brickey
Paul Douglas Brickey left this world to join his beloved wife, Pam, in their heavenly home on March 14, 2019. Paul was born to Edward Jerry Brickey and Rachel Minnie Henry Brickey on Sept. 10, 1945, in Batesville, Ark. The family later moved to Hinton where Paul lived until he joined the military. He served two years in the U.S. Army and several more years in the Army National Guard. He and Pamela Sue Garland were married in El Reno on Nov. 15, 1974.
Paul worked at Dayton Tire until his retirement, spending his years after retirement enjoying time with his family and working on his 1978 Firebird.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Pam; his parents and siblings; and his infant grandson, Kade Michael Brickey.
He is survived by his children, Jeremy Paul Brickey of Oklahoma City, Jeanie Sue Brickey (Joe Hopkins) of El Reno, Krista Summer Brickey Goins (Billy) of Hennessey and William Kade Brickey (Lacey) of El Reno; 19 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A private family memorial will be held in Arkansas in June.
