Jack was born September 5, 1953 at Portland, Oregon to the late Mr. Jackson Charles Barnett, SR. and Mrs. Bernice (Trichel) Barnett. He departed this life Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Oklahoma City.
When Jack was 10 years old his family moved to Oklahoma residing at Bethany. There Jack attended school where he graduated High School. He volunteered for the United States Army and became part of the Transportation Motor Division serving overseas at Germany. After a couple of years, Jack recieved an honorable discharge and returned to Oklahoma. His civilian career was mainly working on airplanes as a mechanic. He has resided at Bethany for the last 10 years.His wife Sandy, preceded him in death about 8 years ago. Jack was a member of the St. Marks Methodist Church of Bethany.
Also preceding him in death, are his Grandparents, Eldon and Mattie Trichel; Father, Jackson Barnett, SR.; Stepfather, James Devoss; Mother, Bernice Devoss; and a Sister, Susan K. Bauer.
Survivors include a Son and Daughter and cousin Larry Robertson and wife Linda of Long Beach, MS. Numerous other cousins, family and friends.
