Darla A. Adams, 48, of Hanover died March 28, 1999 in her residence. She was born May 26, 1950 in Hanover, daughter of Mildred Neiderer Adams of Hanover and the late William T. Adams.

She was the office manager for 14 years at Resthaven Cemetery, Hanover. She was active as a counselor in individual and group therapy, specializing in grief and loss. She was a member of the Pennsylvania Cemetery & Funeral Home Association, a 10 year member of the Hanover Chamber of Commerce, a six year member of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, was active with the Capital LIU for learning disabled kids, Adams County Department of Education sponsor for shadowing program for teenagers and was a notary public.

She is survived by her ex-husband, Gregory Klunk of Virginia Beach; husband, Scott Wakeman of Silver Springs; daughters, Amanda Klunk of Carlisle and Kathryn Klunk, a student at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.; a sister, Neva, wife of Tom Hagarman of Hanover and a brother, Thomas Adams of Virginia. Viewing will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday followed by the funeral service and sharing at 11:30 a.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Interment will be made later at her family's direction.
