Isabell Vestina Adams, 92, passed away on March 13, 2019 at her home in Ponca City, Oklahoma with family by her side. She was born on January 22, 1927 to Sam Carson and Laura McDonald Stigall in Marland, Oklahoma.

Isabell grew up locally and attended Chilocco Indian School for most of her education. She attended Pawnee Indian School for her Junior and Senior years of high school. On December 15, 1953 Isabell married the love of her life, Bert Zane Adams in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Together they had eight children. Bert and Isabell were always together and enjoyed 53 years together before Bert passed away in 2006.

Isabell was known for her gardening and canning everything that she grew. She also took great care of family and friends, she never let anyone be left alone when they needed anything. She was always there to help. Isabell had a large caring heart that she shared with everyone she knew. Taking care of Babies was one of her favorite pastimes. She often watched over and played with her grandchildren, great grandchildren even her great great grandchildren.

She also enjoyed watching her shows on the TV. Some of her favorites were The Price is Right, Andy Griffin and court room shows like Judge Judy, Judge Brown and Judge Mathis. If none of her shows were on she could always find an old western to enjoy. When she was out with friends she could be found on the dance floor or at the casino playing her favorite slot machines. Isabell's favorite holiday was Halloween. She enjoyed decorating and dressing up to trick or treat with her babies.

She was a member of the Ponca Tribe of Oklahoma. Bert and Isabell were members of the American Legion for over 50 years.

Isabell leaves behind her children Mike Ramsey, Cindy (Tavo) Montes, Sam Adams, Kathy Westcott, Ellen Murray and Fred (Cynthia) Adams, seventeen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She had many great friends that will dearly miss her too.

She is predeceased by her husband, Bert, sons Dale Ray Adams and Lester Zane Adams, parents Sam and Laura, seven sisters and two brothers, son-in-law's Kevin Westcott and Kirvin Murray, Sr., daughter-in-law Alene Adams, one grandchild and one great grandchild.

The Funeral Service in her honor will be at Grace Memorial Chapel on Monday, March 18 starting at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Chris Short from Marland Baptist Church residing. Burial will follow at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City.
