Bertha McCasland Crosen was a retired nurse. Bertha was born to Ancil H. and Ophelia McDaniel McCasland. She attended school in Bridgeport and earned her nursing degree in Ft. Worth at Harris Hospital. She was a dedicated nurse in various hospitals in this area for 40 years. Bertha was a loving and dedicated caregiver to her family and patients. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin, her parents, two brothers and one sister. Survivors: Sisters, Wanda Forns of Burleson and Barbara McCormick of Harpers Ferry, IA; brothers, Herman McCasland of Mart and Barney J. McCasland of Crawley; special niece, Leslie McCase of Burleson; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
