Longtime household retainer for Queen Liliuokalani. She died at home after a brief illness. Her funeral was conducted at her home by the Rev. H.H. Parker, and she was interred in the Kawainui vault. She was 57 at the time of her passing. News accounts also list her name as Mrs. Beckley Ahia. Vital records list her birthplace variously as Honolulu (Oahu) and as Lahaina (Maui). A synopsis of the obituary published in "The Friend" notes that she had wed the Rev. James Hunnewell Moku about 1860, and that he died in 1869.
