Born April 5, 1935 in Washington Crossing, NJ, he was the son of the late Malcom R. & Blanche Bush (Parsons) Joiner. Mr. Joiner was predeceased by his wife, Hetty J. (Tindall) Joiner who died in 2007.
He served in the Army National Guard during the Korean War. Mr. Joiner enjoyed animals and leaves behind his beloved dog, Lucky.
He is survived by his four children; Cynthia Conley of Gardners, PA, Beth Thieret of York, PA, George W. Joiner, Jr. of Orrtanna, PA and Diane Joiner of Gettysburg, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and a brother, Bert H. Joiner of Phillipsburg, NJ. Mr. Joiner was predeceased by two siblings; Kenneth Joiner and Ruth Cooper.
A Memorial Service was held with Rev. Michael Allwein, officiating. Interment in the Evergreen Cemetery in Gettysburg.
