From the Rich Hill Mining Reviewl, Thursday, January 2, 1908 - "The body of Walter Sheets, a young man twenty seven years old, was brought here last Sunday and buried in Crescent Hill cemetery beside his mother. His father, W.T. Sheets, of Broken Arrow, Okla., and brothers F.M.& T.G., also from Oklahoma, and Dr. M.E. Sheets and wife of St. Louis, and Miss Myrtle Harriett of Kansas City, accompanied the remains. W.T. Sheets lived for a number of years, ten miles west of Adrian; but a few years ago sold out and removed to Indian Territory. The deceased made his home in Kansas City and a few days ago made a visit to St. Louis and while there was taken sick and died in a week. Rev. Geo. A. Glens officiated."
