GUSTAVE BECKER, 85, of Thornton died April 17. Services were April 21, with entombment at Crown Hill Cemetery. Mr. Becker was born in Rocky Ford on July 6, 1911. He married Emma Whitman, 1932. He had careers as a butcher, a trucker for the Denver Chicago Trucking Co., an airport limousine driver and Arvada liquor-store owner. He won many safe-driving awards.
Survivors include his wife; son Ronald of Thornton; daughter Sylvia Spooner of Vermont; sister Georgina Kitts of New Mexico; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
