Nancy was born on April 2, 1945, in Shawano, WI, the daughter of Carl and Dorothy (Schultz) Haut. Nancy attended a one room school, then St. Johns Lutheran School and graduated from Shawano Senior High School.
It is in high school she met her soul mate Ronald Timm. They were married on December 17, 1966, at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano. They made Albert Lea their home in 1967.
Nancy’s first priority was making a loving home for her family. She also had worked for a short time at AAL in Appleton, WI, typed for a court reporter in Albert Lea, and was a lunch lady at Hawthorne School. She found a job she loved and worked for District #241 as a secretary first at Brookside School and later at Southwest. She retired in 2010 after 20 years with the district.
Nancy was strong in her faith and a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church, where she had been active in the LWML Mission Society, the Ladies Society and Ruth Circle. In addition to the joy she got from spending time with her grandchildren, Nancy also enjoyed quilting, cooking, baking, gardening and canning.
Nancy had a courageous, loving spirit and was always willing to give of herself for others. Blessed be her memory.
Funeral Services for Nancy will be held on Friday, March 15, at Zion Lutheran Church, Albert Lea. The Reverend Matthew Lehman will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
