James A. Trout, 83, of Lawndale Rd., Finksburg, died Saturday evening at a hospital, following a short illness. Born to Frederick County, Md., he was the son of the late George D. and Susan Tanner Trout. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Congoleum Industries and was also a farmer. He was a member of lite Lutheran Church in Emmittsburg, Pa. His wife, Lillie Mae Trout, died in 1967 Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Harry W. Albright, Shermanstown, Pa., George H. Trout, Pleasant Valley; Clarence Trout, Westminster; Mrs. John R. McCulloch, Florida; Mrs, Carl P. Long, Westminster; Mrs. Clarence Stem, Blue Ridge Summit; and Mrs. Viola L. Roop, Westminster. Also two sisters, Mrs. Richard Ott, Westminster, and Mrs. Roy Almoney, Parkton, Md.; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Pritts Funeral Home, Willis St., and Longwell Ave., Westminster, with Rev. Douglas Barber officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
