Donnie L. Blackburn, 54, of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Hardy, KY, passed away Sunday, Oct 25, 1998 at his residence. Born April 2, 1944, in Pike County, KY, he was a son of the late Luther Blackburn and Mrs. Magdalene Scott Blackburn of Hardy, KY.

He had been a resident of Indianapolis for 18 years where he was employed by Mac Corporation. Before moving to Indianapolis he was employed by B&L Furniture Company, Sunbeam Bakery, and was the owner of Tri State Mobile Homes for several years. He was a Vietnam Army veteran having served with the U.S.A.R. and receiving a purple heart. He was a member of the Belfry Baptist Church.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife; one son; two daughters; three sisters; and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY. Burial followed in the Julius Scott Cemetery in Hardy, KY.
