His parents were the late Russell and Georgie Wright Ridgeway, and he was married to the former Bertie Herrington. He was retired from the board of directors for both Farmers Exchange and Farm Bureau.
In addition to the widow, survivors include two sons, Lelton and Rex Ridgeway, daughter, June Ogles two stepsons, Bill Herrington and Ronnie Herrington, two stepdaughters, Evelyn Ferguson and Bonnie Joe Thompson; five brothers,Eldridge, Ethridge, Elliej,Gerald and James.
The funeral was conducted from Mount Zion Church of God.
