Sept. 13, 1960 — May 31, 2007

SPRINGVILLE — Eddie Everett Webb, 46, of Springville, died at 1:46 p.m. Thursday at Methodist Hosptial in Indianapolis.

Born Sept. 13, 1960, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Everett Dale and Elsie Mae (Nikirk) Webb. He married JoAnn Morrow on October 17, 1987, and she survives.

He was a laborer for Whaley Construction Co. in Bloomington. He attended Cornerstone Worship Center (formerly the First Pentecostal Church of God) where he was dedicated and baptized. He was a member of the Laborer's International Union Local 741 in Bloomington.

Eddie was an avid hunter and loved to play and coach baseball. He had a desire to teach his own children and others to play ball to the best of their ability and to strive to reach their full potential. He enjoyed fishing and picnicking and being in the middle of any mischief and fun of family functions. He will be immeasurably missed by his family.

Surviving with his wife, JoAnn, are two sons: Tyler Thomas and Colton Bryce both of Springville; his mother, Elsie of Oolitic; three brothers: Gary Webb and wife Jolene of Wichita, Kan., Davie Webb of Bedford and Danny Webb and wife Jenafer of Oolitic; two sisters: Karen Barger and husband Joe of Needmore, Jeanna Flynn and husband Gregory of Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Everett and his sister-in-law, Teresa Webb.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Rodney Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the Hilltop Cemetery in Avoca.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.

The family asks that friends consider making memorial contributions to a trust fund set up for his children at Bedford Federal Savings Bank, P.O. Box 368, Bedford.
