Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. today in First Christian Church with the Rev. Bob Sweeten, pastor, and Sharlyn Larsen, lay minister of Guymon, Okla., officiating. Burial will be in Stratford Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas.
Mrs. Bardwell was born in Potter County. She lived in Sherman County since 1942 and moved to Dumas in 1999. She worked for the city of Stratford and Stratford Butane for many years.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church of Stratford.
She married Garland Bardwell in 1941 at Amarillo.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Jeanette West of Dumas and Paulette Palmer of Stratford; two sisters Bertie May Whitaker and Minnie Belle Sharp, both of Amarillo; and seven grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Memorial Hospice, 224 E. Second, Dumas, TX 79029; or the activity fund at Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation, 302 E. Second, Dumas, TX 79029.
