Minnie L. Bobb, age 94, of Butler, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016, at River Valley Nursing Home, in Butler. She was born in Covington, Kentucky, on July 20, 1922, a daughter of the late Julius and Minnie Vastine Sargent. Minnie was a member of Butler Christian Church, an employee at Harrison Drug Store, in Butler, and an IRS retiree.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her: husband, Leslie Bobb, in 1969; and sister, Dora Breuer. Survivors include her: children, Nelson (Marlene) Bobb and Sharon (Dan) Moreland; grandchildren, Lesley Prater, Darren Moreland, Ryan Bobb and Erica Thornberry; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 3, at Peoples Funeral Home, in Butler. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Minnie’s final resting place will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, in Butler. Memorials, if desired, are suggested to: North Key, 318 Montjoy Street, Falmouth, Kentucky 41040; or River Valley Nursing Home, 305 Taylor Street, Butler, Kentucky 41006.
