A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was a member of Chestua Baptist Church and loved talking about the Bible and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelce and Viola Lee Belcher; and a brother, Claude Belcher.
Survivors include her sister, Virginia(Rudy) Swafford of Athens; brother, Lee Belcher of Madisonville; nephews, Joe Belcher of Idaho. Lee Swafford of Riceville, and Rodney Swafford of Athens; and niece, Donna Belcher Darnes of Harrison.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Chestua Baptist Church Cemetery with Minister Lee Swafford officiating. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
