Charles F. Buttcher, 71, of the Englishtown-Robertsville Road, died this morning at his home after a long illness. A retired butcher, he formerly had been employed by the L and L Beef Co., South River. Born in New York City, son of the late Fred and Adele Buttcher, he had lived in this area 46 years. Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Morse; five daughters, Mrs. Olive Mott and Mrs. May Krzywecki of Spotswood, Mrs. Margaret Durski of Monroe, Mrs. Adelaide Murphy and Mrs. Charlotte Fedorischak of Old Bridge; four sons, Charles A. Jr., Albert and Wynant of Old Bridge and Robert of Spotswood; 24 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will take place Saturday, time to be announced by the Eckman Funeral Home, 475 Main St., Spotswood. Interment will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Old Bridge.
