Roger L. Chisholm, 79, Grand Forks, ND, died Friday, March 1, 2019 in Altru Hospital Grand Forks.
Roger Leen Chisholm, the son of David and Gladys (Leen) Chisholm, was born in Grand Forks on May 9, 1939. He was raised and educated at Manvel, North Dakota, and graduated from Manvel High School.
Roger married Barbara McKenzie on July 15, 1961 in Grand Forks. They lived in Karlstad, Minnesota for a few years before returning to Grand Forks. Roger was employed by Summers Fertilizer, Occidental Chemical Co., A & J Enterprises, and Wilbur-Ellis until he retired.
Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He also enjoyed attending family and sports events.
Roger is survived by his wife, Barb of Grand Forks; 3 children, Julie (Mark) Cuthbert, Hartland, WI, Scott (Sara) Chisholm, Eagan, MN, and Ryan Chisholm, West Fargo, ND; 3 grandchildren, Callie, Mackenzie, and Mackayla; a sister, Marlys Hardee, Summerville, South Carolina; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Allan Chisholm, Dean Chisholm; and a sister, Darlene Smith.
Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2019 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 319 S. 5th St., Grand Forks. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimers Association, 311 South 4th St., Grand Forks, ND 58201
